Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident: Up to 5,000 lbs of Rear Axle Support

Heavy trailers and bed loads can make your truck squat and throw off how it handles. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your suspension even and your ride confident. With these on, braking and steering stay steady, and you can tow or haul knowing the rear end won’t sag under the weight.

Fine-Tune Your Ride for Every Trip: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 to 100 psi

Every load is different, so being able to dial in pressure matters. The LoadLifter 5000 lets you adjust each air spring between 5 psi and 100 psi for the right balance of comfort and control. Add more air when towing a heavy camper or drop down when unloaded for a smoother ride. You can inflate each side separately too, keeping things level even when a load isn’t perfectly balanced.

Built Tough for Long-Term Use: Two-Ply Rubber and Zytel Endcaps

These air springs are made to handle real work. Each bag uses two-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber for strength and flexibility, paired with high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps that resist corrosion better than steel. The durable build protects against wear and damage while supporting consistent performance mile after mile.

Protects Suspension and Tires: Keeps Weight Balanced

Stock suspension takes a beating under heavy loads, which can lead to uneven tire wear and premature wear on parts. The LoadLifter 5000 spreads weight evenly across the rear axle, protecting your OEM suspension from strain. Keeping your truck level also helps maintain proper headlight aim and overall vehicle stability on the road.

Add Convenience When You Want It: Compatible with Air Lift Compressor Systems

For quick adjustments on the go, you can pair these springs with an onboard compressor like the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ. That setup lets you change pressure right from the cab or a smartphone app—great if you’re towing frequently or adjusting loads often.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Spring Kit for your rear axle. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2023 and newer Toyota Sequoia and on custom fit parts such as this air spring kit. I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our Fit Guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.

Now, if you're doing a lot of towing or hauling heavy stuff, this kit is going to be a helper system for your Sequoia's rear suspension. This uses these airbags. They're rubber airbags that are going to sit between the frame and the rear axle of your Sequoia. So the idea is when you add weight to the back of your truck, things naturally start to sag and that sag can make the steering feel light. It can change your headlights and how they're aimed and generally make your truck feel less stable.

But this kit is going to fix all that by letting you add air to the bags whenever you're carrying a heavier load. So more air equals more support. Now the cool thing is that this is fully adjustable, so if you're towing a trailer, you will pump the airbags up and then when you're not carrying anything, you can just run them at a lower pressure and that truck is going to run and ride normally. Your air pressure is gonna be adjustable from five to 100 PSI. And this LoadLifter 5000 series is designed to give up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support for your Sequoia.

But this doesn't actually increase your truck's official payload or towing rating, but it does help the rear suspension handle weight more confidently, more comfortably, and it's going to make your ride more comfortable and safer as well. Now, people who tow regularly do notice improvements in stability, in braking, and even tire wear because your truck stays level instead of sagging. So this kit includes everything that you see here. You're gonna obviously get the rubber airbag air springs here. You're going to get these custom fit brackets that are specifically designed for your '23 and later Sequoia.

You're going to get airline fittings. Everything is designed to make the installation pretty simple, and you're also going to get instructions to guide you through the installation. If you have any other questions, whether it's about this kit or any other item that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out because ultimately we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

I really like the air spring addition to my truck. They were easy to install and I think they may even improve the ride when my truck is empty.

by:

I installed these on my 2022 F150 pickup to add some lift when towing. They are not “easy” to install but with decent basic mechanical skills you should be able to do it. The online installation videos were very helpful. It took me about 6 hours to do the complete install as I took my time and was in no hurry. It has only been a few days but so far they seem to be a great product.

by:

2024 F350 SRW everything fits perfect. 1 year in and very satisfied. I put a leveling kit on my truck and use the bags to prevent the ass end sagging when hauling.

I just have the schrader valve bolted to a hole on the hitch. I keep a little 12v tire inflator in the tool box of my dump trailer. Pump the bags up to 30-35psi good to go.

This is the second Airlift spring set I've installed - both on Ford F150 trucks. Have been very pleased with the product and it's operation. The biggest installation challenge was the mounting nut that held one of the jounces broke lose from its inside frame mounting. Was able to place a replacement nut via a small opening in the frame to mount the upper bracket.

Always quality fast shipping and great prices from Etrailer! You call and can actually speak with a human being on the phone!

by:

Helper Springs are a great assist for the Ford SuperDuty when pulling my 42’ 5th wheel by bringing the truck to normal ride level while driving.

The only issue I have is keeping the slow leak on one side aired up. The leak is at the connector line on top of the bag where the line goes in. I’ve removed, trimmed and reinserted multiple times to ensure it’s secure to no avail.

by:

Airlift 5000 arrived on time and was not complicated to install, working good for me. Pulling a fifth wheel camper and it helped to tighten up my suspension and make it handle better.
Thank etrailer for your help !

by:

These are good air bags. Took a couple hours to put them on. Everything is pretty straightforward with good directions. Had these on my previous truck and they did a good job.

by:

Installation was not difficult. Excellent for the intended purpose of leveling the vehicle with a bumper pull RV trailer connected. Has made the ride for the rear seat passengers uncomfortable when not towing. Have not found a PSI that alleviates this.

by:

The airbags did their job! I’ve got a 2021 Toyota Tacoma, and I’m really happy with the results so far. I only had to put in about 10 psi, and that was more than enough to handle the weight of the dump trailer. The install was a bit tedious and took around 3 hours total. The left side definitely took longer than the right.

by:

The installation was not that difficult. I did not use the wire harness bracket supplied, my 2024 F250 I unplugged the harness form the truck sided bracket all the lines run up to and rerouted the harness much cleaner installation

by:

Installed yesterday and tried them out with the fifth wheel loaded. Leveled my truck out in seconds with a compressor. The installation video on the same page as the product was extremely easy to follow. Also, Joy was awesome with helping me select what I needed over the phone. Very happy with this.

by:

I installed the airbags on my 2015 Ford Transit to help with the heavier weight after converting it to an RV. The airbags were fairly easy to install. All the parts were included with the kit. I chose to use the manual inflation option by running the air tubes to the back of the van and mounted the fill valves under the bumper. There is a noticeable difference in the sway of the van going around corners and the sag in the back of the van when fully loaded. It's easy with a bicycle tire pump to adjust the firmness of the airbags. A great addition to the safety of the van.

by:

Put these on my 2022 Ford F250 to assist with pulling my 5th wheel. Watched the etrailer YouTube video along with the instructions installation went smoothly.

by:

I can’t believe how much putting these rear springs on my 2021 Jayco Alante Class A has helped the whole suspension and ride.
We took the RV all the way to Alaska through AB, BC, and Yukon Canada. I started with low pressure at 60 psi to see how it performed but ended up having the air set at 80 psi. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with a Ford F-53 suspension who struggles with the ride and comfort.

I just completed the install of this Airlifter 5000 series air bag kit. First, the kit, without a doubt, is a high quality kit with many of it's components designed specifically for specific vehicle application. I installed it under the rear of our new-to-us 2021 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie 4x4 Ecodiesel. I was very pleasantly surprised by the nice and robust powder coating of the metal mounting plates. That means protection for them for a long, long time. The hardware/fastners were/are of decent quality also. And, while the "springs" used for the temporary carriage bolt retention in part of the install are a good idea, I have maybe a better way of doing that. In my opinion, for whatever that's worth, here's a suggestion.
Since there are TWO of those carriage bolts that have to be installed AT ONE TIME, you now have to deal with those two long tailed springs, carriage bolts that continue to fall backwards into the abyss of the frame, all the while trying to maneuver the frame mount plate into position. Then, trying to retain tension on the tails of those springs that retain the carriage bolts, and align the bolt tips to enter the mount plate, and then, if and or when you get the mount plate into position and both bolt tips are protruding through it, you now have to hold ALL of that in place, while you remove at least one spring so that you can now grab a nut (a feat unto itself) and fit it onto the tip of one bolt, all the while trying to hold tension on that bolt so it won't fall backwards into the frame and start threading it.
Then, once it's threads are started, you can no concentrate on the same operation for the second bolt. What a serious pain in the petute!

But instead of the springs and tails to be used to retain the bolts while prepping to install the mount plate, you use whatever their called, a very, very thin retainer clip or washer or "push clip" (I really don't know the name of them) that are used to retain the drums onto hubs on an axle, ALL THOSE PROBLEMS would be over.

You'd simply use the springs as before to load and pull the bolts through their respective holes as before. Now, with the one bolt in place, reach through the center hole in the frame that's between the two bolt holes and using a finger, push on the head of that installed bolt. Your finger will now hold the bolt in place. Now, with that bolt held in place, you can remove the spring. Then, PUSH the very thing spring clip right over the threads of the bolt and it will "ratchet" down the threads until it bottoms out against the frame. You have now LOCKED that bolt in place and you can let got of it with your finger and that bolt isn't going anywhere!!!!!!!!

Now, do the same for the second bolt. Now, both bolts are held firm in place WITHOUT the long and cumbersome tails of the springs. You can now grab the mount plate and push it up into place and over both exposed sets of threads at the same time WITHOUT FEAR of pushing the bolts back into the frame. You can now hold that mount plate in place while you grab one nut at a time and thread it all the way on. Then do the same for the other nut.

To me, this would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than the method you (and I, and any installer, be it a shop or a home install) are presently using. If I had a link to what kind of clip I'm talking about, I'd link it.

But, those clips are seriously thin yet are quite capable of retaining those bolts and will not hinder the mate-up of the mount plate to the frame sides. Sure seems worth a looking into to me. Just a suggestion.

These were a great addition to my truck. I moved from Washington to Michigan 1 year ago. Heavily loaded trailer and truck. No sag, no issues. Full disclosure I had to get some custom U bolts made because of my setup, but I have had zero issues. Great buy.

I plumbed my airlines through the license plate which turned out to be very handy.

by:

I didn’t do the install myself. However my mechanic talked me into these after adding a rack and rooftop tent to my ‘14 Tacoma. Absolutely Fantastic. I have a 3” suspension lift and the truck handles as near to stock as I can remember. Awesome product. Easy install (according to mechanic). Thanks all. Oh yes, one issue because I added a leaf spring when I lifted it. He had to find new shackles to allow for fit. FYI

by:

Install on a 2026 F350 SRW. Love the product and have zero issues with that itself. The reason for the 4 star is the clearance with the factory sway bar and brake lines. It does mention that in the instructions, however it's extremely tight and I'll definitely be checked for rubbing in the future to make sure I don't have clearance issues. Otherwise, they work great paired with the Airlift WirelessAIR compressory system, zero complaints on the usability of the product.

by:

Took my time and followed included instructions exactly. Went together well! Haven’t towed with them yet, but definitely raised the back of my Tacoma with 26 lbs of air pressure that I tested for leaks with! Feel like they’ll be a big improvement when towing our 4200 lbs. camper!

by:

Very easy step by step instructions, how to install. It took me about two hours in my driveway. I got it because I haul a 35' travel trailer. Makes the ride a whole lot smoother

by:

a very good choice. The F150 did not have enough stock suspension for my 24 foot trailer with a GVER 10,000lb. Now we all know the truck will pull that weight but when you hooked up it squatted. After installing the air lift it does not squat any more and the truck with a 5.0 has enough power to pull the weight. I had Monroe air shocks on it before but they would not do the job. I am very happy with the setup. I replaced the Monroe air shocks with Rancho shock's and the ride is amazing with or with out the trailer. This was a great investment for the long haul.

by:

Watched the install video twice before the shipment got here and had no problems installing it. Also installed the WirelessOne from Airlift at the same time. Picked up some 1/4" clamps to make the air lines look a little cleaner, and hold them in place during our snowy and icy winters. Including the WirelessOne system, it took about 8 hours from the time I washed the underside of the truck until I rolled it back out from the garage. Pulled the camper this morning and all my old issues have disappeared. Truck is level, trailer pulls great, and the cooling system is back to working as needed. Highly recommend this suspension kit!

by:

Im very impressed with these airbags. So far they are doing the job.
These come with all hardware and instructions. I put 20 psi with no load to see how long the air would hold up. 2 weeks later im now at 15 psi which I'm satisfied.
The previous bags of another brand didnt hold air well even with no leaks.
I can tell the difference in ride quality. I've loaded the bed with landscaping materials and towed my boat with 15 psi and still holding strong. Looking forward to towing my Travel Trailer.
Customer service has also been great!

Really firmed up the 25 Sequoia, the car is far more sure footed. We are dragging a 28ft heavy 4 seasons Arctic Fox that puts 1100 pounds of tong weight. Could never pull it without Air Lift!!! This is the 4th vehicle I have used this product on and always pleased. Between company and personal vehicles over 15 years never had a failure or repair. Highly recommend Air Lift!!!

  • Best Air Bag Kit For 2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro
Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out. We do offer an air bag kit for the 2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro. Here is what you will need: Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL95QF You also have the option of adding an onboard compressor, and for that I recommend the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980EZ. This allows you to adjust and monitor the bags using the included remote, or with the Air Lift smartphone app. The app control is fantastic especially if you...

  • Which Air Lift Kit Fits 2023 Toyota Sequoia Where Does Air Line Usually Run
Hey Binh, the Air Lift kit part # AL95QF that you referenced does fit the rear suspension of your 2023 Toyota Sequoia and normally people would run the air hose to the bottom of the rear bumper fascia after drilling a small hole through it. This does not come with any type of air tank but we do have compressor kits that include them like the Firestone part # F2266 but there isn't a tank setup that can be ran without a compressor. What would you use the air tank for?

  • Will Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Fit 2026 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro
Hi Kendrick; according to Air Lift the LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL95QF do not fit the TRD Pro models. However, we have had at least two customers successfully install them on the 2023 and 2024. One came back and complained about the impact on unloaded ride quality. This isn't typical for air bags so I'm assuming although they technically fit, they cause issues because of the differences in the suspension. Based on that I do not recommend adding them to your 2026. Instead, I...
